"Simulated hands" onion peeling machine as name suggests, is to imitate human hands to peel onion all-round. Though it is hand, but the shape is totally different from human hand. It only adopts the principle of manual peeling and has realized the technology of onion skin peeling as well as root cutting in fast speed with no damage. The machine is designed ingenious and novel. Coherent movements and in the process of onion continuous conveying, onion skin will be peeled and onion root cut as well. This set of equipment consists of three main parts: automatic feeding, automatic peeling and automatic root cutting.

The working flow is as below:

1. “Automatic feeder” carries onions to the “simulated hands” onion peeling and root cutting machine. Workers place onions onto onion seat of the conveyor belt and slightly adjust onion top and tail position.  

2. Then conveyor belt will transport onions to the “peeling room” and “cutting room” for onion skin peeling and top/tail cutting.

3. After cut, onions will output automatically.

This machine has the following features:

1. Onion's grade, size, wet/dry level, place of origin is unlimited, all can be peeled perfectly.

2. Onions feeding, skin peeling and top/tail cutting can be completed automatically at one time. It works continuously with non-stop.

3. "Skin layer peeling controller" in this machine can freely control the peeling depth, only peel dried skin or further peel the second layer, the third layer, all can be peeled perfectly.

4. Onion top and root cut with small removal amount and high yield. Cutting mechanism in the machine has the function of auto-identification of different size of onions. So whether the onion is big or small, all can be cut with a minimum removal amount.

5. The machine adopts the method of peeling with no blade and in this way, onion peeled has no cut marks, no damage but perfect appearance.

6. It yields high, one equipment can be operated by one worker and production can reach 2T-3T per hour.
